50 Years of Seb

 

For 50 Years, Sebastian Professional has been a leader in developing products for hair-styling as well as in-salon services. In this campaign, I was tasked with developing a voice and vision for how the digital media assets would connect with the badly-needed retail refresh. We brought in this idea of “Style is Fluid” - the idea that no matter what style you choose to be, Sebastian Pro has been along the journey with you. It was very important to us to incorporate models and influencers who had a fluid & openly unique sense of style to fully embody this concept. This campaign needed to have a highlight on the range of products that Sebastian carried as well as the focus on the model & personality. In a practical sense, the assets were also intended to live as both a digital representation of the last 50 years of the brand, as well as featured in nation-wide retail spaces. This required a deeply technical knowledge of print and retail design - as well as a total understanding of how consumers engage with objects in-store. For hair professionals, I also created a series of paid-trade advertisements that were used for hair professional publications as well as a 40-page technical guide of all of the products.
