True Color  hair color, a subsidiary of Clairol  Professional wanted to take their brand into a parallel category: blonding. With the intention to launch an extended visual identity that was inline with the existing brand, I art directed and executed a full campaign with key visual, brand name, packaging & activation ideas.  From this brief, myself and a copywriter worked to develop a heartfelt campaign that spoke to the power of being “blonde” -- no matter your natural hair color. Under the concept name “My True Blonde,” I art directed a packaging update - both mock ups and renderings - as well as campaign visuals (shot in Venice, CA) and video social assets. This campaign extended into paid media and brand owned media channels as well.
